What is a facial? A facial is a spa or skincare treatment that typically involves cleansing, exfoliating, moisturizing, and pampering the skin on your face. It often includes steps like steam, extraction of blackheads and whiteheads, masks, and massage to promote relaxation and improve the overall health and appearance of the skin. Facials can be customized to address specific skin concerns such as acne, aging, dryness, or sensitivity. They are a popular way to maintain and rejuvenate facial skin.

How often should I get a facial? The frequency at which you should get a facial depends on various factors, including your skin type and skin concerns. Your esthetician will determine the best frequency and type of facial for your skin.

How do I dress for a facial?

Come as you are. Once you get in the treatment room the esthetician will introduce you to the massage table and explain how to get on it. They will ask you to take off your shirt and  get underneath the sheet. The esthetician will massage your shoulders and neck while masking. You will be covered at all times with a sheet and a large blanket. Your esthetician will check in with you to make sure you are not too cold or too hot.

Do you offer microdermabrasion machines with suction such as the Hydra Facial?

No, I feel that the suction and high cost of a Hydra Facial does not have enough benefit to warrant the possibility of breaking capillaries or stretching already loose skin. The Derma Disc does not use any suction, while still exfoliating the skin.

Do you do facials on children?

Yes I have done facials on 13+ Parents/Guardians can accompany their children in the room.

Is there parking?

Yes! We have our own private parking.

Is your space accessible?

No. There are 2 Steps leading up to the door.

Do facials hurt? Facials are generally not meant to be painful experiences; instead, they are intended to be relaxing and soothing for most people. Extractions can cause mild discomfort or a slight pinching sensation, but it should not be overly painful. Some enzymes and light TCA Peels can cause some tingling or mild discomfort but should not be painful.
